European Summer Institute on the Future of Europe:Lobbying in Brussels
Prague, Czech Republic, July 3 - 10, 2010
Founder's Word Print

Dear Student,

ImageLet me take this opportunity to invite you to the European Institute on the Future of Europe. The Institute is an exciting chance for you to broaden your knowledge and gain your own perspective on the current and most challenging developments in EU history.

The academic part of the program will provide different views on current EU issues and will provoke a fruitful discussion generating new ideas about the future of an enlarged EU. An equally important component of the Institute is aimed at bringing together a group of outstanding international students to provide them with an opportunity to exchange academic and cultural experiences during classes and special events organized by the Institute, as well free time.
Intercultural exposure is an important aspect of learning from each other. It may change your perspective about other nations and cultures, and give you new skills and insights for your future development.

I also invite students to "brief in" the history and culture of Prague. Famous for its miraculous historic architecture, the city has a unique atmosphere, which survived through the Nazi and Communist destructions. There are simply not enough words to describe the beauty and splendor of the city.

I hope that this program will provide you with new knowledge, new experiences and new opportunities. The Institute staff and I will do everything we can to make this program a once in a lifetime experience.

Our previous programs were a success and I expect the European Spring and Summer Institute 2010 to be even better! So do not let this wonderful adventure pass you by!
